WEBTOON: Manga, Comics, Manhwa

Read comics built for the phone

WEBTOON: Manga, Comics, Manhwa is a mobile reading app for digital comics, with a large selection of webtoons, manga and manhwa. Its vertical-scroll format lets you move through episodes by swiping down, making it suited to quick reading sessions as well as longer chapters. The catalogue covers multiple genres, so it can work for readers looking for ongoing series, new stories or a familiar comic style.

Stories from established and independent creators

The app brings together professionally produced series and creator-published work through its CANVAS section. That gives readers a way to explore beyond the main featured titles and discover comics from a wider range of storytellers. Series can be followed in one place, helping you keep track of updates as new episodes arrive.

• Vertical scrolling designed for mobile reading
• Webtoons, manga and manhwa in one catalogue
• Featured series alongside independent creator work
• Comments and community interaction around episodes

A large, well-established comics app

WEBTOON is published by NAVER WEBTOON and is listed in the Comics category. Its scale is reflected in more than 100,000,000 installs and a rating of about 4.6 out of 5 from more than 4.3 million reviews. Those figures make it a practical starting point for readers who want a broad selection rather than a small, specialist library.

Who it suits

This app is a good fit for anyone who prefers reading comics on a phone and wants many series gathered in one place. It is especially useful for readers who enjoy discovering independent work alongside prominent titles, and for people who like a simple feed-and-library approach to keeping up with ongoing episodes.
